  5. Here is the latest demo version of Empire Master (2.6).

  7. For those of you who are not familiar with Empire Master it
  8. is a sophisticated strategy wargame.  You start out with a city
  9. and explore outward, finding more cities and islands, until
  10. you find and deal with the opposing side (or vice versa.)
  11.  
  12. This version is a demo, but it allows you to play any number of
  13. games.  You cannot save and restore games in progress, play
  14. over appletalk, or vary the map parameters with this version.
  15. You must also deal with an annoying dialog when you quit.

  17. The game provides a full featured interface with many ways to 
  18. direct your units automatically.  This frees you from having 
  19. to worry about trivial details so that you can concentrate on 
  20. the overall strategy of the game.

  22. You are also able to vary many of the map parameters to create 
  23. a limitless number of scenarios.  Finally, there is a separate 
  24. rule editor that allows you to create entirely new units.
